Aromatherapy Bubble Bath by California Baby

If you have children, or are expecting a little one, you might already know how difficult it is to find truly baby safe products. I was astounded when my first child was born, and I discovered that virtually all drug store and grocery store baby products including shampoos, bubble baths and soaps - contained a whole host of chemicals that I wouldnt dream of putting on my own body let alone on my babys tender skin!

The worst offending baby products were baby bath products and bubble baths. Most contained artificial dyes, fragrances, harsh chemicals and SLS (sodium lauryl sulphate, used to promote lathering). Since I was married to a man with chemical allergies and had a few of my own, I knew that I wanted baby bath products that were much more natural than what I was seeing in drug stores. Then I found California Baby bubble baths, and I finally had a solution to the bath time dilemma - including all the bubbles I desired!

California Baby bubble baths contain no SLS, or DEA (diethanolamine, known to irritate skin and eyes). Better yet, and really important if you have life-threatening allergies in your home, it also doesnt contain any nut oils, gluten, soy or dairy! Since life-threatening anaphylaxis can occur from contact as well as ingestion of the allergen, its vital to know that the product youre using has no trace amounts of any of these allergens.

The one potential allergen that California Baby bubble bath still contains is methylparaben, an antimicrobial agent. So keep in mind, if your family has paraben allergies, California Baby products will not work for you. The bubble bath label says hypoallergenic, but that doesnt mean it is completely non-allergenic, it means its much less likely to be allergenic.

Being that no one in our family has paraben allergies, weve used California Baby bubble baths to great results with our son, Michael. Our favourite scent is California Baby Overtired & Cranky. It contains an essential oil blend that helps calm little ones when they need sleep, but are too worked up. California Baby is a low sudsing bubble bath, so you have to lather it up a bit by swishing the water around with your hands once the bubble bath is added.

Additional good news about California Baby bubble bath is that its considered a no tears formula, even though its list of ingredients doesnt contain any chemicals to artificially desensitize the eye. This is a bonus because most no tears formulations actually include an anaesthetic that numbs the users eyes to the products stinging effects. When I realized this, I refused to buy no tears products.

Best of all, California Baby bubble bath will help your children look forward to bath time! Take it from a mother who knows. When I recently brought home a bottle, the first thing Michael asked was when he could take a bath!
