Frizz Be Gone by Giovanni

Anti-frizz allergy product for your hair

Giovanni Hair Care Frizz Be Gone - 2.75 Ounces Liquid

It’s been a hot and humid summer. I have long, fine (and some would say limp) hair, that loves to frizz up in this kind of weather. Because of this, I’ve been using conditioner more often than usual, which sometimes leaves my hair oily. It seemed I just couldn’t win, so I went looking for a new allergy product to control my frizzies.

When I was scouting new hair care products in the local health food store, I spotted something I never expected to see - an anti-frizz product. After all, how could a product effectively combat frizz and humidity without all those nasty chemicals? But, after reading the ingredients, I was surprised to see that, while there are some chemicals in this product, there are also healthy, organic ingredients.

Given how the summer was going, and how frumpy I was feeling, I decided to buy it.

I’ve been very pleasantly surprised! This allergy product works well. The label states that it can be used on dry hair, but I’ve had better results using it on wet hair. It also works with both air-drying and blow-drying. I find it really smoothes the hair without flattening it, and leaves my hair smelling wonderful!

To use, I just put a dime-sized amount on my hands and rub it around. (I have long hair, so I probably use a bit more than someone with short hair would use). I then run my hands through my hair, distributing the product as evenly and thoroughly as possible. That’s it! If you blow-dry afterwards, it will take a couple extra minutes, but shouldn’t add any appreciable time to your normal hair care routine.

The results are definitely worth it.

This hair product is a bit more expensive than the anti-frizz products I’ve seen on the shelves of the local drugstore. But these products typically contain more chemicals, and many ingredients that my family tries to avoid. That’s what makes Frizz Be Gone is a great allergy product - and the way it protects hair from frizz and humidity is what make it a great styling product.

For an excellent allergy-friendly shampoo, suds up with Au Naturelle.
