Bactegon Hand Sanitizer
Disinfect your hands without worry
Once the winter weather is here, you can expect the usual reminders about hand-washing. Your local public health unit will be urging you to keep your hands clean, to prevent the spread of viruses and bacteria during cold and flu season. Frankly, this simple habit is one of the best ways to keep yourself and your family “bug free”.
It may also be recommended that you use non-soap hand sanitizers, to help reduce the amount of bacteria on your hands.
Well, if you are a parent like me, you’ll want to do as much as possible to keep your family healthy and sniffle free. But have you ever read the list of ingredients on the typical drugstore hand sanitizer? If you have, you might not have been very happy. Who wants all those extra chemicals absorbed by their skin? Better to find a more natural allergy product that would do the same job.
That’s how I stumbled across Bactegon - a hand sanitizer that uses ethyl alcohol and isopropyl alcohol to clean your hands. It also includes a ton of healthy natural ingredients, such as aloe vera and herbal extracts. I decided to try it since I’m often out and about with my kids, and want to ensure that our hands stay as clean as possible.
One thing I noticed about this product is it left my skin feeling cared for. When I’ve used other hand sanitizers, I’ve found they left my skin dry and a bit irritated. This wasn’t the case with Bactegon. It works just like other hand sanitizers in that you put a little on your palms, and rub it fully around your hands and fingers until it dries naturally - no need for towels or other equipment. But, unlike the others, it leaves your hands feeling smooth and soothed.
The pocket sized bottle is perfect - fits nicely in your purse, even if you carry a relatively small one.
Look for this natural hand sanitizer at your local health food store. As with many allergy products, it will cost you a bit more - but I’m convinced that, in this case, it’s worth every penny.
