Sleep Like A… Baby Bath
Nice allergy product for baby and for mom
I’ll tell you: after a number of months of getting up in the night to nurse an infant, I’ll try any allergy product that promises me a few more zzz’s. However, I may have been too hopeful; given my daughter is still less than 6 months old! The good news is this Baby Bath and Massage Oil by Lunar Eclipse hasn’t resulted in a sudden change in my infant daughter’s sleeping patterns, it has made for a much calmer and happier transition into sleep.
I’ve made this oil part of our bedtime routine. While I change Rayna into sleepwear for the night, I massage her arms, legs, and belly with this baby massage oil. She enjoys it; I get a few well-deserved smiles, and giggles after a long day.
We’ve also started to use some of this oil at bath time. It keeps Rayna’s skin smooth and soft. It’s also worked quite well as an oil to massage scalp. My daughter has a bit of cradle cap, and this works to help remove it. If you don’t know how to alleviate cradle cap, one of the best ways to get rid of it is to oil the scalp; let it sit on the scalp for an hour or so before a bath; then use the softest bristle-tooth brush you can get, and gently “scrub” the cradle cap away. Once you’re done, you can wash the rest of the oil off the baby’s head or hair. We do this every couple of weeks or so, and Rayna’s scalp is healthy and free of any sign of cradle cap.
Baby Bath and Massage Oil is a great allergy product that contains sunflower and almond oils as “carrier” oils. These are infused with calendula, lavender, hop and chamomile flowers, in addition to the essential oils of lavender, ylang-ylang and sweet marjoram.
